Greetings

Happy New Year from all of us at Physical & Sports Rehab.  We hope that you had a great Holiday season and we wish you all the best for 2018.

Welcome to the January newsletter from Physical & Sports Rehab.

  SICK POLICY

We love our patients, but not their germs! As we move into flu season, please let us know if you are sick, have a cold, or recovering from the flu. You will be excused from the $50 cancellation fee. This is very important. We want to keep our staff and our patients healthy!

Thank you for your understanding!

  2018 INSURANCE CARDS

If you have received a new insurance card for the new year, please bring it in or call us with the new information. We are checking insurance eligibility for EVERY patient. We need to be sure that the claims are processed correctly. Doris and Rochelle will be happy to take the information over the telephone.

Also, if you have Medicare please be sure to provide us with a new referral.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter!

  WE LOVE HEARING FROM YOU!

Our motto is "Excellent Service and Care... Consistently."  Periodically, we need to know if we are meeting this goal.  Just a friendly reminder, if you have not already completed the survey, please do so by clicking here. The survey is critical to our success. Please offer us suggestions, or list any concerns or complaints.  We read every survey submitted. The survey will take less than 5 minutes of your time.

  OUR NONPROFIT

Prince George’s County awarded PTS Rehab Works Inc. a Community Partnership Grant (CPG). Every year, the Office of the County Executive awards approximately $1.3 million in funding to eligible non-profits through the CPG Program.

We received funds to serve uninsured and underinsured patients. Please call the clinic for more information (301)-658-6881.

You shop. Amazon gives.

And you can support the nonprofit too! When you shop at smile.amazon.com. Amazon donates a percentage of your purchase to PTS Rehab Works Inc.

AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. Same products, same prices, same service.

Understanding Trigger Finger

Trigger finger and trigger thumb refer to an abnormal change in the tendons that bend the fingers toward the palm of the hand. It is commonly characterized by a “catch” or an inability to straighten out the finger or thumb. Thickening of the tendons leads to the formation of a knob which gets caught within the sheath of the tendon, and triggers this problem. To learn more about how this condition develops and how it is treated read below.
