Greetings
Welcome to the March newsletter from Physical & Sports Rehab. We invite you to read about our non-profit, PTS Rehab Works!
|
PTS Rehab Works, the non-profit arm of Physical & Sports Rehab, was founded by Paul Heath to address issues related to health education. Our primary mission is to empower our clients and community members to be proactive in their health: to recognize the deficiencies caused in our body and mind when we lack sufficient knowledge about proper self-care.
As part of PTS Rehab Works' commitment to taking an active role in promoting health, Angela Heath, who spearheads the non-profit's efforts, has launched the 2016 Love Your Body! Workshop Series. The LYB! Series features monthly workshops hosted by local experts and are dedicated to addressing the role of proper nutrition, physical fitness and mental health in our overall wellness. We hope you will join us at one of our workshops this year!

In particular, running injuries account for about 30 percent of all tendon issues, while another 40 percent is caused by repetitive tennis-type (racquet or club) injuries.

This dessert is vitamin-rich and cinnamon in particular is a spice that is associated with several cardiovascular health benefits. Though it is not low in sugar, it has less refined sugar than many traditional desserts and uses aromatic spices to satisfy the taste buds.
